Technology based self service banking (TBSSB) includes banking services that customers use independently without any interaction with the bank employees. Though banks have successfully launched TBSSB services (i.e. ATM Banking, Internet Banking, Tele Banking, Mobile Banking etc.), but their adoption among mature customers is still very low in India. In this study people above 50 years of age are considered mature. The purpose of this paper is to find the factors that affect the adoption or intention to adopt TBSSB by mature customers in India. For this purpose, various attributes affecting the adoption of TBSSB by mature customers have been explored. A survey has been used to collect primary data and 152 usable questionnaires were used for the purpose of analysis. Factor analysis procedure was employed to identify the underlying structure among the various explored attributes. This study will help bank managers in gaining insight of the critical attributes and factors affecting adoption of TBSSB, which in-turn will facilitate banks to redesign TBSSB services for mature customer as well as designing promotional activities to convince more and more mature customers to adopt TBSSB.Keywords

The technology based self service banking (TBSSB) refers to banking services availed by customers using electronic banking channels, without any interaction with bank employees. This paper examined the impact of TBSSB service quality dimensions on customer loyalty. A survey was conducted to collect data from customers of different banks, using a questionnaire. The sample size of 414 was divided into two sub-samples of equal size. The dimensions (factors) were identified by conducting an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) on first sub-sample using SPSS 16.0 software. Factor structure was confirmed by conducting confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using AMOS 20.0 software on the second sub-sample. The proposed TBSSB SQ-Customer Loyalty conceptual model was tested for uni-dimensionality, reliability, and validity. Four proposed hypotheses were tested using structural equation modelling (SEM) with the help of AMOS 20.0. Out of four TBSSB service quality dimensions, Personalisation is the only dimension that is found to have positive significant effect on customer loyalty. This study will guide banks about the critical technology based banking factors that need to be focussed upon for increasing customer loyalty.Keywords

Sustainopreneurship is an emerging issue as society is looking for solutions leading to sustainable development. For sustainable development, environmental issues related to degradation and depletion, public health care issues related to availability and distribution of medicine for public welfare along with economic issues related to unemployment and dearness offer opportunity for entrepreneurs. Sustainopreneurship can help to resolve these issues. The present study is focused on various aspects of sustainable development. Motivation refers to the way a person is enthused at work to intensify his desire and willingness to use his energy for the achievement of organization's objectives. Motivation is vital to all organizations. The motivation among academicians is far more important for development of young generation. This research paper aims to identify the factors which motivate academicians of higher education. A comprehensive literature review on motivation was done to finalise the variables of assessing academicians' motivation level and their further inclusion in structured questionnaire. This questionnaire was used to acquire data from the academicians working in different institutes and universities of NCR region. The factors were identified by conducting an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) using SPSS 19.0 version. Through EFA twelve factors were extracted namely Recognition of Seniority, Growth opportunities, Interpersonal Relationship, Participative Management, Responsibility with Authority, Job Security, Personal Factor, Performance Management System, Monetary Benefits, Top Management Support, Student Feedback and Appreciation, Research Based activities. The results of this study may help public and private academic bodies to examine the motivation level of faculty members, thereby to formulate different policies to further improve their motivation level.Keywords

Banking is one of the important support services for business but today it has become an industry in itself and investors look upon it as a profitable sector. Indian banking industry is thought to become 5th largest banking industry of the world by 2020. Now it becomes important to know what this sector is paying back to its equity investors in the form of dividends. As far as dividend is concerned, it has always been a puzzle in financial management and there are number of factors that influence the dividend payment. This paper is an attempt to find out the relation of dividend with other factors which can affect it. Researchers have tried to know the impact of earning, financial leverage and book value of shares as a major component on the dividend policy of banks in India. The study is based on the data for 33 banks in total for a period of 12 years. Both the nationalized and private banks are considered for the study. The various statistical tools have been applied using SPSS.Keywords

To attract the talented workforce, recruiting them and retaining that talent is a big challenge for HR with the professional organization culture for IT industry. Human Resource professionals need to be taken cares that professionalism without suppleness and receptiveness can be the wrong direction for the success of IT industry.
